King of the CyberRing 2009!

In another statement today, IWL President Paul Williams has announced that the IWL King of the CyberRing tournament will be returning this year, with an added catch; the winner will not only recieve the IWL King of the CyberRing trophy, but also the IWL World Heayweight Championship.

Speaking from his office in New York, Williams claimed that this year the tournament is open to anybody interested in competing.

“We’ve opened the doors to anybody in the world who wants a shot at taking out the title. If they win, it is expected that they’ll remain with the IWL to defend the IWL Championship however people who get knocked out of the tournament are more than welcome to stay as well. There are plenty of roster spots to fill and it is possible that the people who get eliminated may participate in matches to determine new Intercontinental and Television Champions.”

People who wish to participate are urged to submit an application to the IWL from the main page of the IWL website, to be booked on the first OverDrive card slated for mid-November.
