OverDrive [97] is in the books as almost all hell broke loose between disgruntled tag-teams were forced into competition and special guest referee’s having their decisions overturned by Paul Williams, it was a rough night out for everyone. Not to mention, the new contendership system which was announced by Paul Williams really looks to shake things up in the new future for everyone involved in the IWL!

Never mind the fact that the tag teams of IWL were shaken up for a day… never mind that Terror retained his IWL World Television Championship in a return match for the coveted belt… but what transpired at the end of the night between Ira Rakiz, Loco, IWL World Champion Kori Argentum AND Paul Williams was the real moment shaker of the night.

Earlier in the night, Paul Williams announced the new contenders system as a three point must system. That is… three points and you are given a championship opportunity for the designated title as directed by Williams and the board of directors. Lose a match, and that tally is reset back to 0 for all titles (tag teams will retain their points despite losses in singles competition). The system will start to take place on OverDrive [98] and going forward.

In the main event… It seemed that Loco was on the up and up about things. His counts were fair, the rulings were level, he even was going to start disqualifications against Ira. It almost seemed too good to be true. However, that’s exactly what it turned out to be… too good to be true. At the end of the night, Kori was left with a big look of confusion as she was disqualified for the use of an illegal object after following Loco’s orders to strike Ira down with a steel chair. After the match Paul Williams immediately announced that he was reversing the call, citing outside interference. Also that next week on OverDrive, Kori will get to referee Loco’s match in the main event as well! Things are turning out to be a bit more interesting as we count down the days until the IWL’s return to Pay-Per-View in just three weeks.

Stay tuned to IWL for more details on OverDrive and the Pay-Per-View.
