[OOC Posting]
Well it has been awhile since I posted here, figured I’d update this to give everyone an update.
Right now, things look pretty grim for the Internet Wrestling League and the nine-year old promotion. It’s hard to say that things aren’t going well for it, mostly because that’d be an understatement. We’re trying to get the infrastructure of the site a bit more up to date. This is mostly the application, the forums, and a few other kinks in the news poster (aka Wordpress). In addition, scouting around for a roster since we’ve become mostly a “no one wants to go there” kind of promotion which kind of sucks. It’s down to the point of whether or not should it keep going, and with the backing of everyone left, we’ve decided to keep it going. Granted this means that I will likely lose standing with EWZine, RK, ESEN (which we really didn’t get a chance to use), and a few other e-fed communities, but hey we’ll try it again and give it our all out best go. As with each start, our goal is to make it to 12/1, the date of the IWL’s birth. I’m not guaranteeing this will be the IWL of the old, I’m not sure if this will be the IWL of new, but one thing is for sure… it will be the IWL.
So with that in mind, I’m opening up the forums now and the application link above. (After 90 attempts you no longer are required to have an IWL forums account before hand.)
Hope to see everyone in the ring,
Paul Williams
The ever defiant owner of IWL

Well as the title states, this will be another attempt of IWL Entertainment to maintain what is the IWL. Not many details were given to IWL Online but a statement from Paul Williams: “We’ve seen better times… but that doesn’t mean it’s the last time.”
Not much was said after that as Paul dismissed cameras for the first time ever as he was rather private.

We got word from the Talent Relations department that several possible applicants have begun submitting their auditions to the IWL for entry in the relaunch (again) of the new IWL. We won’t get into details but we’ll spoil some of the applications as IWL Talent Relations and Legal Relations give us the okay to show them.
“There may be hope for this promotion after all,” cited Paul Williams in a conference.

The Internet Wrestling League is going through tough times right now as many of their roster are leaving for more lucritive offers. Owner, Paul Williams, mentioned to staff here at The ‘Zine recently: ‘We’re doing all we can to promote the IWL, but it’s tough right now with the economy. If you’re an up and coming wrestler in the business, now is a time to sign with the IWL. It won’t always be like this, but those who stick with us will be rewarded.’

Word was recently announced that the IWL will be joining the World Wide Wrestling Association as a part of it’s FedWars interfed promotional organization.
Details of the WWWA can be found on the FedWars website at: http://www.fedwars.org.
More will be revealed on the exact details of the deal between IWL and WWWA at a later date. According to some IWL officials, that may occur as soon after the first OverDrive has aired next Thursday.

Recently we caught up with Paul Williams, the owner of the Internet Wrestling League and IWL Entertainment and asked if we can sit down with him and have a little interview with him. We felt we had to ask him some pressing questions that the IWL audience would want to know, as well as SEVERAL others who look down upon the promotion as a whole. Hopefully we managed to get everything. Read the rest of this entry
